Welcome to the LSU Undergraduate Research Conference (URC), “Excite/Explore/Experiment,” website! For participants who have attended our conference in the past, we have undergone a name change from the Triple EX Conference to the LSU URC, to better describe what the conference is all about!

We welcome all participants to our 4^th annual conference! Our goal is to provide a dynamic forum for undergraduate students to present their research in a competition, allowing for interaction with faculty, and also an environment to develop collaborations with their peers.

WHAT

Annual conference to promote undergraduate research at universities and community colleges. Agenda includes an Oral & Poster Presentation Competition and Keynote Speaker.

The competition will be held in the following categories:
     Life Sciences
     Math & Physical Sciences
     Technology & Engineering
     Social Sciences

WHO

The Oral & Poster Competition is open to Undergraduate Students who currently conduct research in STEM disciplines and the Social Sciences at universities and community colleges.

General audience attendees (faculty, post docs, graduate students, undergraduate students, high school teachers and students, parents) are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Registration is $15 (covers lunch & refreshments) and is required for all presenters and other participants (see links at top of page).

Parking
Free parking is available at the Ag Coliseum lot at the corner of Highland and S. Stadium Road (click here for a map, the purple and gold star is the Ag Lot). Our department will reserve a limited number of parking spaces near the LSU Student Union. These spaces will be available on a requested basis and the cost is $1.25/hour, payable at the parking meter.

Lunch and Refreshments
Lunch is included with the registration fee and will be a boxed lunch. Light refreshments will be served throughout the day.
